March

March is such a dichotomous time; the promise of spring is awakening while winter isn’t quite ready to let go. Tiring of our winter hibernation that offered rest and introspection, we are anxious to move towards the light of spring and life outside ourselves. Yet, March humbles, reminding us not to race too quickly ahead without ensuring the lessons of winter are ready to travel with us. This in-between time becomes an unwanted gift, allowing us more time for digging, preparing us for the growth to come. What are we longing for? What are we not ready to release? Somehow, March answers.
