No matter how much life is lived, there will always be growing pains; times when we realize that everyone and everything we love is fleeting. We grow attached to the familiar – to the people, places and circumstances of our lives – only to have the constant motion of time shift our foundations, forcing us to rebuild.
We constantly grieve what we have loved and lost, yet somehow find a way forward through our primal instinct to survive. Life is a continuous cycle of living, dying and growing into something new.
Without this process, we would never discover how to trust the persistent pulse of our own internal compass. We would never understand that love does not mean clinging out of fear but leaning into the generous flow of giving and receiving. We would never learn that letting go does not mean losing but creating space for the deep roots of love to grow and dwell within us.
